New trailer released for The Sun Stands Still

Warner Bros. have released a new trailer for the postponed film, now due to be released March 2021.

Warner Bros. have announced the new rescheduled date for Tatsuya’s upcoming film, ‘The Sun Stands Still‘ 『太陽は動かない』.

The release date was set to be 15th May 2020, but due to the coronavirus and the safety of fans, the Warner Bros. production team met and decided that it would be better for all to postpone the release until further notice.

The new trailer features the title track 「泡」(Foam) by King Gnu.

The spin-off drama series ‘The Sun Stands Still -The Eclipse-’ (which has been filmed simultaneously with the movie) was broadcast as planned, from 24th May – 28 June  2020. The drama series is set as a prequal to the movie which is now going to be released next year in Japanese theatres on 5th March 2021.
