Although RDTF (previously known as just Tatsuya @ PHKP or Tatsuya.PHKP) has been around since 2001/2 - it used to (literally) just be a single page on PHKP about Tatsuya. On 26th April 2003 it seperated itself from that and fledged fully into a proper fansite - so this is when I count as RDTF's official birthday. Unfortunately, I didn't keep any of the files of what it looked like before it did this, but I have just gone back and documented RDTF's past layouts for your (and my own) enjoyment.
This site truly has grown up with me (I was 16 when I began it!) - so please don't laugh too loudly at some of my first attempts. You may even remember a few of them~! (^_^;)
21 MARCH 2012 - MAY 2015
In celebration of the launch of the new Media and Gallery sections, I slightly jazzed up the website - adding a re-vamped header image and changing some of the titles to a bolder font. Only a little change - but it made the site look alot more colourful and interesting.
10 JANUARY 2011 - 21 MARCH 2012
In keeping with the general layout design of the previous version, I decided to create a new layout (almost a year on) that felt cleaner and simpler to use. This version, was probably the most comprehensive off all that have gone before it. The images used are from the official Chameleon Photobook.
25 JANUARY 2010 - 10 JANUARY 2011
I decided to go a different route in terms of coding this time - taking the site down for a few days so I could convert RDTF over to a php based design. I still liked the look and feel of version 14, so decided to keep the overall design and layout (hence why I've called this version 14.5).
12 SEPTEMBER 2008 - 25 JANUARY 2010
I wanted to redesign RDTF mainly because the amount of content it now has on it really needed to be re-organised. Marking the release of Tatsuya's photobook 'Ima no Ore', and also the 7th year anniversary of RDTF being online (!) I decided to use an image from 'Ima no Ore' to give the site a clean & simple, yet packed-full-of-stuff feel.
15 MAY 2008 - 12 SEPTEMBER 2008
A layout to celebrate Tatsuya's 26th birthday! I'm not totally sure why I chose to do this one in a horrid poo-brown/orange colour, but it happens to be one of the main reasons why I changed it.
02 JANUARY 2008 - 15 MAY 2008
Beginning to get more up-to-date with how RDTF is now, this layout shows how I (still) want RDTF to feature alot of stuff on the page so it feels open and packed full of information. It's interesting to see how the site has expanded too, going from a tiny box in the corner of the screen to filling it out.
03 JULY 2007 - 02 JANUARY 2008
Back again to a more simple layout with muted tones. This time from a magazine scan of Tatsuya (for a change).
08 FEBRUARY 2007 - 03 JULY 2007
This layout has a theme of Dragonflys - due to RDTF 'Rising Dragon' title. I still think Tatsuya would look pretty if he had wings like that, hehe. I still like the contrast between B&W and one bold colour, however, the pink got a little overpowering at times.
19 SEPTEMBER 2006 - 08 FEBRUARY 2007
Quite a winter-y feel to this layout. Going back to an image from Tatsuya's photobook 'TWENTYone' - from the same photoshoot used in the layout of RDTF's first incarnation.
07 JUNE 2006 - 19 SEPTEMBER 2006
Featuring images from Tatsuya's photobook 'No Control', this layout was quite a change from my usual style of bright colours and/or muted tones - it looks rather dark and busy.
30 APRIL 2006 - 07 JUNE 2006
Hmm another new layout in a short space of time. Featuring images from Tatsuya's photobook 'No Control'. I'm not sure why this one didn't last very long...
14 APRIL 2006 - 30 APRIL 2006
I'm not totally sure this version ever saw the light of day - I think it was probably taking me to so long to design it that I decided updating it would be a pain. I do like its style though...
25 OCTOBER 2005 - 14 APRIL 2006
Probably my alltime favourite photograph of Tatsuya is featured on this layout (I love his profile image). Again another clean and simple layout - with some pixelated patterns. I think I found this one too hard to update though...
23 JULY 2005 - 25 OCTOBER 2005
Another layout I am still quite proud of. And another one of my favourite photos of Tatsuya - you guessed it - from his 'TWENTYone' photobook.
28 FEBRUARY 2005 - 23 JULY 2005
This is still probably one of my favourite layouts for RDTF - again from Tatsuya's 'TWENTYone' photobook, I always thought this photograph was very calming and beautiful. It is also a layout that caused quite a scandal when someone stole it and used it as their own (tsk tsk).
14 JULY 2004 - 28 FEBRUARY 2005
OMG, why did I make it bright orange?!?! Hmmm... yes another image from Tatsuya's TWENTYone photobook. I can't really say much about this layout other than looking back on it now, I hate it~! (>_<)
26 APRIL 2003 - 14 JULY 2004
This is the first incarnation of RDTF (back when it was still just 'Tatsuya Fujiwara @ PHKP'). It was still when there weren't that many images of Tatsuya on the net - and so I used an image from his (then) upcoming photobook 'TWENTYone' - it's quite blurry because, if I remember, I had to enlarge it to get it to be that scale.
